Upon successful launch of its first product candidate, Phytoceuticals will increase screening activities in order to identify potentially new product candidates. Phytoceuticals follows a clear strategy for product sourcing. A promising acquisition candidate has to demonstrate “proof-of-principle” results (well documented human case reports showing efficacy), a clear patent strategy including Freedom-to-Operate and a convincing registration strategy.
